Default Who will be the next coach fired

I was planning to make this thread before the Texans fired Bill O'Brien. Adam Gase was my knee jerk response was Adam Gase of the 0-4 Jets after they lost to our 3rd string QB, but this is only his 2nd season as HC, so he should be given at least 1 more off-season. After taking time to look at all of the HCs of all the struggling teams, BB disciple Matt Patricia is the 1 that I'm voting for. He took over a Lions team that had back-to-back 9-7 seasons and has led them to seasons of 6-10, 3-12-1, and now is off to a 1-3 start in his 3rd season. I do think that he should be given that chance to turn the Lions around this season, but I don't think he will.

Dan Quinn, Mike Zimmer, Adam Gase are probably the top candidates.

I think I might have just changed my mind, the Jets owner should go to the locker room at half-time & fire Gase now. Jets drive it down to the 15 and get stuffed on 3rd & 1 and 4th & 1. Next drive, their D picks Murray to set their O up 1st & goal from the 10. The first thing they do is get a delay of game penalty, then they have to settle for a FG. This is against a Cards' D that gave up 4 TDs & a FG on 5 redzone trips by the Panthers last week.

Dan Quinn might be gone tomorrow. Losing the Panthers at halftime, at home, to go to 0-5.

Howie Long voted for Gase being next.

Falcons aren't very good. I would think Patricia is next.

I forgot about Patricia. Seahawks house the Vikings tonight and Zimmer might be gone.

Seahawks will lose, so I can hear their fans tomorrow moan and groan.

Mike Nolan, don’t hire a 3-4 DC if you want a 4-3 Defense.

patricia will be next. . . local reporters seem to think the jets will wait 'til the off-season to axe gase, but he gone too. . . who's the coach in jacksonville?
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

The Jets might as well just keep gase for the year. He gives them the best chance to land Lawrence.
