It’s anecdotal, but it seems to jive with other stories about Haskins.

The QB from the high profile schools seem not to understand that in NFL you have to work to be good at your job. They must be to use to just showing up and being 100 X better then anyone on the other team.

"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

Depends on the kid. For awhile, the big time college football quarterbacks’ talents were overrated because of the talent around them. Guys like Greg McIlroy, Matt Leinart, Colt McCoy. Many examples. That’s changed as quarterback evaluation has gotten better at the high school level, so the best recruiting schools (Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma) can recruit the best quarterbacks, not just as college talents but NFL talents too. The scheme changes in the NFL have also played a factor in those schools having the best NFL prospects.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Im not sold that Haskins will be a good pro as it is but if he has some of those other issues that you all have pointed out that wont be much help even if he is a good prospect.

That’s not what I said, I said there are signs of fans turning on Lock already.

literally no one with a brain wants rypien over lock. . . jaded, show us on the doll where the bad quarterback touched you. . .

that doesn't mean i want haskins, either-- he looks like byron leftwich without the guts and leadership. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

I think Jaded's greatest fear is that Rypien will pull a Foles and win the SB with Denver while leaving Carson....i mean Drew wallowing in self pity and misery of not being "the man". Lol

I am looking at the first 2 games of the season and I see us competitive to two undefeated teams with most of our starters. The we watch Rypien try to lose a game with horrid turnovers. I think Lock will take us out of top QB chances once he is back.
