Further proof that NFL Coaches (AND fans, especially fans) can’t get out of their own way.
What do fans have to do with this? I am pretty sure fans do not make coaching decisions.

I wish we did, cause Dotson would have been starting at RT much sooner

He isnt better than Lock athletically or even from a potential standpoint but i have yet to see anyone say they want Brett over Lock at this point. Would i be fine with Ryp being a backup? No doubt but we will definitely need to see more from him before we can get a true measurement of what he can do.
I’m not trolling, wait til Lock has the exact same game Rypien just did and watch Broncos fans start screaming for Rypien to start.

With the quarterback, fans and public perception matter. I’m not as pessimistic as Jaded here, but a mediocre performance by Rypien. — mostly saved by Jeudy’s studly play — against a bad, bad team, should be every bit the evidence Lock is the guy. But there’s the Siemian rumblings already. Resist them, please.

Yes I'm sure you'll find one idiot in some corner of the internet doing that and you'll attribute that to the entire Broncos fanbase.

Im still trying to find the posts where people are clamoring for Rypien to start over Lock. All i ever saw that night was people saying the kid handled himself well with his first start.

I'll give this, Den has been so pathetic at QB that people are still pining for a PS QB that was released elsewhere. If he was such a prodigy why did Minn let him go.

Don't care. Is that an opinion option here?

Haskins was unprepared during the week and showed up late to Ashburn. Alex Smith was a showing up earlier and staying later even though he knew he was going to be inactive. It’s not college.
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

Lombardi told a story on his podcast Thursday about Haskins two summers ago that also wasn’t good. I didn’t catch where it was, but some organization brought Lombardi in to a camp to speak to kids, and Haskins asked to meet with him through his reps, set up two times and never showed for either meet up. It’s anecdotal, but it seems to jive with other stories about Haskins.
