Good tune but ive grown so burnt out on that record because of how much the other songs are overplayed.

    bullseye.

Here's what is sticking on the disc golf funk playlist from these suggestions--I gave each a listen. Much appreciation for the suggestions, I hope everyone finds the funk they needed here. I'm leaning more toward uptempo funk (e.g., I Can't Go For That is more of a chillax midtempo, but Private Eyes is a bit more uptempo dance jam with energy).

    INXS- The One Thing
Eddy Grant- Electric Avenue (sadly--not on Spotify, but this is a double bullseye)
    Gary Numan- Cars
    Billy Idol- Dancing with Myself
    Diesel - Sausalito Summer Nights
    EMF - Unbelievable (1990)
    Caribbean Queen - Billy Ocean
Endicott - Kid Creole and the Cocoanuts
    Mountains - Prince
    MJ - PYT
Talking Heads - [yeah, I actually chose This Must Be the Place instead ]
Tom Tom Club - Genius of Love
Stacey Q - Two of hearts
The Rubberband Man - The Spinners
    REM - Stand (nice!)

Ok, I see I have a few more, I might come back and edit.

Yeah, Rocket Queen and Mr. B are the only songs I can stand anymore. I have to be in a mood to get something out of Sweet Child, but damn if that's not an all-timer.

ah, yes. Back when the video seemingly sold songs as much as the music did. like this one:

I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

You really can't have a thread about funk without Parliament:

I think they spent the 80s doing sound effects for video games
