Default Garett Bolles: Denver Broncos Top-Rated Player, According To Pro Football Focus

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)– Garett Bolles has been known for his holding penalties, but this season he’s been the best player on the field for the Denver Broncos.

According to Pro Football Focus, the Broncos starting left tackle earned an 86.6 rating, which is the highest on the team. He’s been called for only two holding penalties this season with one being accepted. Bolles’ improved play has caught the eye of Broncos head coach Vic Fangio.

“I felt good about Garett coming into this season,” coach Fangio said on Oct. 2. I remained in constant contact with him throughout the offseason and knew he was in a good spot mentally and emotionally. He was working out good and it was true when we finally got together in training camp that he was primed to play his best at this point in his career and I think he’s done that up to this point.”

I did not see that coming. For a lost season it’s something promising.

Garret has been a beast and I am happy he’s coming around! Loved his attitude after the Jets game he was about to tear someone’s head off:

*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

He has been their best OL this year. I'm not sure that is even debatable.

Ask PFF how Broncos protect in 3-wide, Legwold says they suck. Bolles and the RT are the reasons why.

Bolles is killing it in PPF rankings ... just like Parastiff did.

I'm not convinced PFF's ratings are any good but if it quiets the Bolles-haters, I'm down with it.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Both Lock and Rypien only had a few sacks, most of them came with Driskel under center. And I mean that literally. Under center with cement on his feet apparently.

Fat ******* chance, there’s a better chance of Bolles turning into Orlando Pace.
