    One of my favorite guitar solos of all time was actually what he did on Beat It for Michael Jackson. Such a cool sound! I think the rumor was he did it in one take, which is probably very true.

    65 in rock star years is like 85 to ordinary people. Think of the 80s rock stars that died before him...Michael Jackson, Prince, Robert Palmer, George Michael, etc.
