Former Cheatriot coaches are a shitshow, not even close to being worth the gamble.

- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
Sorry, NFL. The window for the Bill O'Brien Make-A-Wish general managership has closed. You'll need to find some other whack GM to fleece. Props to the Dolphins and Cardinals (two truly stable organizations that rarely make mistakes, btw) for getting in while the getting was good. If you're looking for J.J. Watt, he's over in the discount aisle hoping the bubble wrap doesn't tear.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
So, one more branch from the Bellicheat tree comes crashing to the ground... surprise! The best part is, just like McDoosh, they gave him full control and he blew it. Makes me happy. O’Brien is a POS. Perhaps someday people will stop hiring/clamoring for Bellicheat castoffs. They still haven’t had one, not one, be successful.

Ummm, okay. He had a few good draft picks (DT, Decker) and some shitty ones (Tebow, Ayers, Moreno, McBath, and who could forget the coup de grace - Alphonso Smith and Dick Quinn!?). You don’t get credit for manipulating the draft board if all you do is waste picks on shit. He traded Cuter away and left us QB less for years until Manning. Cutler wasn’t great but he was more physically talented than any other POS we’ve had Not named Manning or Elway.
Oh, and let’s not forget all the sweet trades for ex-Pats like Maroney and Gaffney who sucked. I don’t know what world you live in, but the McDaniels era was a disaster. Coaching and Personnel. The only reason we won as many games the first year is because Mike Nolan’s defense didn’t allow a second half TD for half the season. Then McDaniels fired him and hired Wink Martindale because he thought he was smarter at defense (McDaniels, not Martindale) than Nolan. He was the epitome of arrogance and overconfidence. He hasn’t changed. He’s the same smirky little know it all he’s always been. **** that guy.

Cutler: Good trade. Never did shit in Chicago and got a good draft pick haul back.
Hillis: Good trade. Had one ok year in Cleveland then was out of the league.
Scheffler: Good trade. Had a few mediocre seasons in detroit then was out of the league.
Marshall: Good trade. Was a total head case and was never able to stick on a team for more than a couple of seasons the rest of his career.
DT: Excellent draft pick, one of if not the best WR in broncos history.
That's not to say he didn't make his fair share of draft whiffs (but honestly has Elway been much better in this regard?) but the players he got crucified for shipping off all never did shit after he got rid of them.
