Im only surprised because i didnt expect him to be playing quite as well as he is. Now, some of that could be the Jets self destructing and helping us along the way but in terms of his own play it hasnt been that bad.

Not about the running game, obviously.

    I didn’t mention Case Rypien?

dog's half-drunk halftime ruminations. . . i sure hope shelby is OK-- he's been one of our top 2-3 players to this point. . . get that man re-signed by monday! chubb, too-- he's showing signs of getting right, fingers crossed. . . i know it's just the jets, so grain of salt and all-- but dotson looks better than eli. . . and bolles has finally matured a bit. . . bausby is better than bassey, readjust the depth chart. . . also, shurmur is fine-- stop whining. . . that said, get the ball to fant in the 2nd half. . . go donkeys, get one win!

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

It will suck if he’s hurt, but he’s getting all kinds of pressure tonight and has a sack. He’s the one who keeps forcing Darnold out of the pocket to his right, unfortunately, Reed and Tuszka aren’t able to beat their man to clean Darnold up like Von would. Darnold is playing great tonight. He’s avoided how many sacks where he was in the grasp? He looks like Big Ben out there. Chubb looks like Chubb tonight. I don’t know what game you’re watching.

Oh and don’t worry, the Jets won’t draft Lawrence with Darnold on the roster. Denver can get the #2 overall pick and still trade up get Lawrence...

looks like peanut tillman without the punch. . . a strong scheme fit, for sure. . . i wish they'd play agim. . .

All the other games this season. That final drive he was manhandled by the RT. First sack of season, so he is on track for a 5 sack season at this rate?

All I’m sayin is I knew this is who he is, small ball, dink/dunk machine. I’m not surprised and I’m also pointing out that these results (holding the ball, dropped Int’s) got Driskel benched.

If I knew how to post a picture I’d post his pass chart, he’s a scrub “getting the most out of his talent”.

    Dammit. Hamler is out.

There you go, Jaded, a two yard pass on third down and eight.

I like how Tyrie Cleveland and Deionte Spencer stay super close to Shurmur just in case he calls their number.
