Not a fan, personally, but I can see why some people would be on that boat.

I don't know man.... I have to think a concussion or two could cause issues, TBI and epilepsy don't play well together many times.

But saying it WOULD cause issues, but I think it's a higher likelihood. Ask the Mrs!

Her answer was "I don't know, it could affect anyone differently". She's well trained for CYA doctor speak.

But yes, she did acknowledge that it could potentially lead to more serious things. Her concern seemed more along the lines of what would happen if he got a seizure in the middle of a play and his guard went down and he got hit moreso than the epilepsy in general leading to more concussions or more serious concussion symptoms. I still think I'd draft him if he's there, but it'll be interesting to see how this affects his stock.

Ultimately I'd think at this point any team considering drafting him has probably already had their medical experts vet this, so where he gets drafted will probably come down to how confident the docs feel about his condition.

How does one outgrow epilepsy? (per the tweet)
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

A high school friend of mine died due to an epileptic seizure. He was at home alone during our Junior year when it happened.

I asked my wife about this too. She said it's common for children with epilepsy to not have it when they grow up. She did say for a guy in his 20s if he still has it, it's less likely it'll go away.

Asking for a friend are ya?

Well, you just kinda let time run its course and it either happens or it doesn't.

    Hope that helps...good luck buddy

    very carefully?
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Or he’s a “Patriot Way” idiot who’d rather have Kyle Orton than Jay Cutler.

Simms is an idiot, say what you want about the rest but Lawrence was the #1 overall pick and QB1 the day he signed his LOI.
