From what I see and what separates the elite QBs from the Driskel types is the ability to recognize pressure and understand where the hot routes are and do that with poise. Some QBs like Russell Wilson have that other gear that was lost on Brady and Manning and that's the obvious ability to buy time with escapability. However, look at Wilson's sack numbers. He has been sacked at an incredibly high rate in his career.

Anyway, Driskel is what he is. It's a bit frustrating to watch opposing defenses not even disguising rushes. Imo, he should at this level be able to recognize it and know or call the hot routes. I am certain all of the passing trees on each play where they have those routes. Not necessarily CHECK DOWNS either. It's a different aspect all together.

Anyway us wishing that he would become this great QB with poise and able to become something he has never been is absurd on many levels.

The thing that sucks most is that I was mentally prepared for this to be a rebuilding year with an emphasis on growth and not wins/losses. But now we are almost WORSE off because Lock, Sutton, etc. aren’t even getting reps and we are fielding what feels like a strike year team and not getting any answers to where we stand at QB, offense, or anywhere else. And we are just THREE games in?

I was ready for growing pains at the sake of being super competitive, but you know what growing pains are without growth? JUST PAIN. This is the worst possible scenario for any team in an already weird season, and even worse for the fans.

I like how the 2019 teams can hold Von Miller and Kahlil Mack to 8 sacks but we can’t expect the Broncos OL to hold up to blitzes and 5 step drops.

I was assured that our Oline is great and not the problem. I work on Sundays for most of the day so i didnt catch any of the game but watched the score. Sounds like a whole lot of chaos today as people seemed to complain about the OL, QB's, defense quitting, bad coaching, etc. Sounds like the team just didnt seem interested. Is that accurate?

Partly, the defense didn’t quit, they forced four 3-and-outs to start the 3rd period.

Driskel was getting crushed, apparently it’s his fault though.

The coaches are still missing 32% of their starters so clearly today’s loss was because of poor coaching.

13 more games and Trevor is ours.

    Things to look forward to.

The Jets and Giants will be our biggest competition.

Despite todays loss, I don't think we're bad enough to get the first overall pick.

It can happen that both the oline AND the qb suck balls. The Broncos proved it today. The problem is the QB's haven't always sucked the last 5 years, but the oline has.

I was expecting him to go Tom Brady on Lock’s ass and lead them all the way to 6 Rings.

I don’t blame Driskel for the poor play, he has Swiss cheese protection. Now, he could’ve just thrown the quickest route in the play design but we’d be killing him for that too.
