Saw another tweet indicating an assistant coach for the Titans coached the game after the test that eventually came back positive.

So this puts a dagger in the argument of "But they test everyone, why do they need to wear masks?!!?! "

This may not be over, they’re saying that these people have been in proximity of over 40 other people.

Considering postponing two games, which will be killer for fantasy.

From what I'm reading, they might just postpone to Monday or Tuesday if no more positive tests crop up this week. Fingers crossed there.

Even Tuesday will likely create havoc with systems that have set deadlines hard coded in their systems. I'm sure there are developers scrambling as we speak.

I read that one thing they are considering, especially if more positives come up, or the "equity" committee rules that the Titans being away from their practice facility all week makes it unfair to play, is moving the game to when their bye is. I don't remember all the details, but it sounded like the Titan Steelers game could be moved to a future week, but the Vikings were more complicated if they had positives pop up.

Looks like Titans/Steelers game is postponed until later in the season, after two more Titans (one player, one staff) test positive.

Steelers May not get a bye week? That’s what a buddy said.

now chiefs - Patriots is being postponed, as well. . . for those who didn't get it, this should be a good reminder that testing doesn't do anything to prevent transmission. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Going to start getting very complicated to fit all these postponed games down the road. In hindsight, they probably should have started the season a couple weeks early and built in extra bye weeks, or even a 2-3 week gap between the regular season and playoffs and maybe planned a bubbleish approach to the playoffs.

P.S. Panthers and Saints postponents would really help me in my money league, as McCaffrey and Michael Thomas being sidelined has been a major blow.
