Oh!
Okay, now I see what you're getting at.
I guess it's like when an expert witness takes the stand and has to prove their positions, the basis of it, etc. I can't just be like 'your honor, ole girl with the MIT degree says it be like that, so that is what it be like.
That's sloppy, but I'm out of coffee and studying for midterms, so take it easy on me.
I will say this - some of the articles are saying 'expert advice' when the experts themselves are basis their advice off of findings. The journalists aren't lying/wrong, but it could be more precise.
This was...I enjoyed this.
Let's do a podcast.
I'd wear the damned mask if I was a HC. 100k are you kidding me?
Maybe BB style tho, and I'd cut off the metaphorical sleeves of the mask. However I could do that within the letter of the law...
Not to fanboi on BB. But kinda.

Talk about manufactured drama. Wow.
159 posts in and Tned is still pointing out that there is a rule that was agreed to. A point that was never in play.
Yep. But rules. Pot is legal in colorado, it's not allowed in the NFL.
Sorta dumb, but rules.
Like I said earlier, it can be both. There can be nuance here. Specifics of the rule are dumb. Other specifics of the rule make some kind of sense. At the end of the day, for better or worse, this was packaged up and signed off on. Now the only thing to do is run with it.
162 posts in and you are still complaining about coaches getting fined for not following a agreed upon rules, and AFTER the NFL warned clubs after week one that there would be consequences if coaches continued to ignore it.
So, it appears you need to keep being reminded that the NFL and NFLPA agreed to a full set of protocols in order for the players union to agree to play the 2020 season.
Well, since this isn't P&R, and as those of us (I believe you have been in that thread) know that there is a BIG disagreement at the root of the virus, masks, etc., some of us are obeying forum rules and NOT debating whether or not the rule makes sense, and instead focusing on the simple fact that without it, we wouldn't have a 2020 season for you guys to bitch about its dumb rules.
If you want to debate the merits of the rule itself, let's do it in the pandemic thread, since I don't want to get banned for discussing P&R topics in a BT thread (although Lord knows most reasonable people wouldn't consider discussing a pandemic to be "political").
