Default 7 Sacks. 19 QB Hits

Unacceptable. Any QB starting for this team will be sent to an early grave with play like this.
From your eyes, who was most responsible?

Last I checked, Steelers are a pretty good blitzing team. You have inexperienced QBs, lackluster offensive line, and an OC who is struggling with creativity against a good team like the Steelers.

Bolles played well outside the hold. I saw him stonewall Bud Dupree a few times. Wilkinson is straight garbage though.

This is an unpopular opinion, but it's accurate.

He played well the last four game last season.

    He played well week one.

The 'sack he gave up' turned into a sack when Lock drifted to the other side instead of going up the pocket, which was there. Lock tried to make a play, which I don't begrudge, but he held onto the ball too long.

People will blame Bolles, and forget that QB's avoid sacks by getting rid of the ball all the time.

So prepare for those who don't know much about how the game is actually played to come and correct you.

We still didn't pick up his option. We need 2 new ones.

Offensive line has been an ongoing issue.

Then draft the LT out of Oregon -I always forget his name- or Leatherwood. But this thread was about the poor line play and I was referencing the right now.

I've only really looked into the OT's and pass rushers.

Bolles is an average OT when he isn’t getting called for penalties. We’re arguing about the smell of dog shit. He’s still ultimately not worth re signing unless he plays at a Pro bowl level for the rest of the year. He’s been OK. Great. Whoopie.
Meanwhile the O line still sucks and for the last 6 years the QBs have been a walking infirmary because of their terrible play.

Justin Herbert FINALLY just now gets pressured and makes a rookie mistake and immediately throws an INT. Young QBs have to be protected. He’s had almost no pressure all game. And he looks good.

Also, I doubt we ever see James again. By the time he even considers playing again it will basically have been 2 whole years since h last played a whole freaking game. He’ll just retire with Bowlens money.

CB will also need a look. Why do our FAs always get hurt?

You missed a really good chat that Jaded, Dog, and I had about Fangio's scheme and what it requires out of a CB. Not that you don't know that, but it was fun.

I think part of it is just bad luck. And another part of it is worse luck?

I'd really like another elite specimen at ILB. Just to have that brutal tandem. Run train on them. Choo. ChoooOooOOo!
