Sure but that scrub can’t throw 40+ passes today.

3rd and 5 is way more realistic than 3rd and 20.

... and there’s an int on first down.

They’re doubling and bracketing Fant, specifically so Denver can’t do that. It forces the outside throws, and at this point with a backup that’s a good gamble. Shurmur is going to have to get creative. More Hamler!

Is it that Pitt D is that good, or Broncos O is not as good?

They’re in a tough spot. I don’t think Denver is going to average 2.5 yards a carry after this point, but you’re right they do have to try.

at least Vic's getting his timeouts in!
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Little of both. They held Saquon Barkley to almost nothing last week.

Why not go for it? Denver may not score again with that offense.
