He should have coached Jeudy to catch and Melvin not to fumble?

I thought Shurmur called a good game. Those early bootlegs really set up that sweep play for Gordon that was working well in the 4th quarter. He did a good job moving Lock out of the pocket and getting the ball out quickly to compensate for the weakness on the O-line too.

We just had some pretty untimely execution errors, and our head coach is a moron.

Think so, mostly. It doesn't jump out at you like...say...1 second and 2 timeouts in your pocket.

In the first half. The second half was called by an old guy, I think.

He adjusted in real time to the Titans' adjustments via halftime/second half. So between that and a good first half of playcalling, it just felt like that wasn't the issue. The cliche is 'it's not the playcalling, it's the execution' can sometimes actually be right. I don't think that's the case here. But that's just me. I'm a ******* idiot.

Yeah, same. I got an execution breakdown vibe too. But wtf do I know.

First game with no pre-season and no Sutton. Mistakes were bound to happen.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Continuous offensive staff turnover isn't going to work. There is all kinds of talk about the QB carasol, but the offensive coordinator carasol here has been just as bad. Shurmur knows what he is doing, but it doesn't help when your receivers drop first down conversions.

Nah he called a good game, we had young guys making some dumb mistakes on offense. Then you had our Avg RB fumbling in a horrible spot. Only thing I didn't like was the play call for Butt in the RZ, and going away from Fant. I like what I saw....I think this offense is actually going to grow into a force.

    Typical Broncos one half football.

He wasn’t perfect but he called a way more competent game than Scangs could have. We won’t see several TE reverses each game.
