And Broncos weren't the only club interested in Lynch. Anyone who pays attention to the draft knows that it's a total crap-shoot for QBs picked out of the top 10, and rarely are they sure things outside the top 3, maybe 5 depending on top team's needs.

I like the pick of a QB, and I n hindsight, I also think he should’ve been on the field starting his 2nd season.

I bought into the SB50/TS template At the time, I was stupid. PL should’ve been put in to sink or swim, in the end they gained nothing tangible by pretending with TS.

    Draft
    1st round— Cooper Dejean CB
    2nd round— Jack Sawyer OLB
    3rd round— Will Shipley RB
    4th round— Ricky Pearsall WR
    5th round— Ladd McKonkey WR
    6th round— Cash Jones RB
    7th round— Carson Steele RB

It sucks because they went 9-7. The team still had juice if the QB was good.

The bad part about Lynch is that we apparently knew that he wasn't a hard worker and drafted him anyway.

That's the part that just kills me. Because that was a high end NFL talent there. He's clearly a pouty ho.

At least he didn't get Jamarcus Russel or Ryan Leaf money.

It was toxic, players wanted TS, so playing PL was not an easy argument to make.

That’s the problem with Scrubby McScrub’s, how long before fans are screaming for Case Rypien? Hide and watch, fans have irrational bonds with scrubs.

I wouldn’t have a single Malik Rypien on my team, let fans rent billboards for players with NFL talent.

Default Von Miller undergoes surgery; ‘It went well’

DENVER (KDVR) — Von Miller had surgery Friday morning after being injured earlier this week during the last play of practice.

“He had surgery (Friday) morning and I was told it went well, and we’ll see how it goes. They haven’t said anything on a timetable based on his surgery, that will depend on the healing.” shared Broncos Coach Vic Fangio.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network said Miller’s specific injury is a dislocated peroneal tendon and it could take 5-6 months for him to recover.

“Essentially, the tendon flipped over the ankle bone. Best option is usually surgery, with a general recovery time of 5-6 months. Absolute best-case scenario is 3 months.” shared Rapoport on Tuesday morning.

Has there ever been an athlete surgery where they said anything other than the surgery went well?

It's when they don't say it that it gets scary, sometimes.

I think after the Alex Smith surgery the doctor just said, “Football? This guy? Well, Damn...”
