Plenty of good employees work for bad organizations. Usually, those people leave those bad organizations for good ones. Seems like that's what she has done.

I actually at least respect Shazam a bit more for at least being honest about why he didn't like the hire.

I'm actually willing to wait and see how she does. Not going to dismiss the hire because she "worked for the Knicks". That honestly might even be a dumber reason to dismiss the hire than her gender.

Ultimately, she impressed Fangio enough to get hired full time, and he's probably one of the stodgiest, old school coaches in the league. He's the last person I'd expect to make a straight diversity hire, so I'm assuming she's actually good at what she does.

I knew of her, but I've tuned out the Knicks since the Nets came home. I even cancelled my cable service because it was run by the same man who owns the Knicks. I hate that man as an owner.
