I've said this here before, but in my opinion Vick is the most physically gifted athlete I've ever seen on an NFL field. That year he had in Philly after being away from football for years was just ridiculous. Dude could have been the GOAT if he'd stayed out of trouble and really dedicated himself to football.

In today's game he would be the best player in the league. Even over Mahomes. I can't prove it. I have to extrapolate, etc. But I believe it. Look at the prominence and MVP award of Lamar Jackson. LJ is an athletic monster, but he's at least a half-tier lower in talent compared to Vick. Vick was just ahead of his time.

That's rough for Indy. They have nothing behind Wentz.

I feel for both the player and the organization.

Wentz is just snakebitten. Indy needed a QB and had a coaching reunion. It seemed like there was a chance for success there.

He'll be out of the league in two years, tops.

Bummer. I would have liked to see his max potential. He seemed destined for real success.

Him vs Josh Allen in the SB would have been one of the sickest storylines ever.
