I am 100 percent okay with NFL, NCAA, and high school football continuing into the spring if necessary. Super Bowl and National Championship taking place in March would be fine by me.

I'm glad he gave us that direction, I'd have had no clue how to proceed otherwise!

I read the headline, but didn't click on any articles. Is the thinking that the Big Ten schools will have a common set of safety rules and that's why it's OK to play conference games, but not out of conference?

I feel like at this point all the pro sports will come back in some form, but we might not see high school or college sports at all for a while. Just too hard to do if in person classes aren't happening anywhere.

Yes, but it’s also an acknowledgment that the season, frankly, might not happen.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Denver area schools are going back to the buildings this fall. No sports though--and that doesn't make sense to me.

But I bet it will be hurky-jerky start-stop for a while, so maybe no sports is just a good common sense move. Still, all books and no ball? Ugh...

Less than two weeks from now rookies are scheduled to report to training camp. The NFL and NFL Players Association still have major issues to negotiate before then.

Time no longer is on the NFL’s side.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll is not opposed to temporarily pausing the opening of training camps.

“Whatever we need to do to do this right is what I hope we do,” Carroll told John Clayton on ESPN 710 Seattle on Friday, via Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times. “If we’ve got to slow down a little bit to get started, that would be OK. There [are] a lot of unsettled issues right now between the league and the players.”

training camp in two weeks? that is NOT going to go well. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Really hard to imagine them starting training camp in two weeks, or if they do, keeping them going.

I've heard it's like a religion in Texas, so that's pretty telling.
