Why on earth would we want that in Denver? Driskel may not be all that but if we are at least going to sign any kind of vet then get someone who is actually a leader personality wise. The link i provided with the gif i posted explains a lot of why and how i feel about Cam during and following SB50. Although i had never been a huge fan of his even going back to college after watching him quit on his team and pout after the SB loss totally turned me against him as a player. I just dont want that here in Denver.
I actually don't really disagree with much of this, but if anyone can get the best of him it's BB, so that does worry me. It would be so Pats to sign this guy that no one wanted and have him be a star again.

No. It's going to be a shit show. I cannot wait to see this implosion.

It's going to be real ugly there. Get yo popcorn ready
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I'm legitimately curious why you think this. I get the narrative that we broke Cam and he hasn't been the same QB since that game, and he admittedly hasn't been THAT good since then, but if you look at his numbers, he's still been very productive since then before last year when he was hurt.

I admittedly don't watch the Panthers that much so maybe those numbers were a complete lie, but he still seems like a serviceable starter when healthy. I'm not sure why it would be a trainwreck in NE unless he really is just totally broken.

Cam is a selfish me first baby. Bb will clash with that. Cam turns the ball over a lot. Bb will clash with that. The Pat's have few skill position players on offense. Their o line, theyve lost so many guys to FA and brady made that line waaaaay better by getting rid of the ball. Cam holds the ball!

Also stidham I suspect will get time as well. People are going to call for stidham. People are going to call for cam.
Stidham folds hard when under pressure. With their online that's bad. Cam holds the ball too long as I mentioned. With their online that's bad. It's going to be a shit show.

Cam was at his best in rpo. Are Pat's going to redo their entire offense for that? Stidham is not close to rpo.

I'm liking the rbs for fantasy purposes but that's it.

I hope you're right, but this seems like a lot of wishful thinking. I'd love nothing more than for the Pats to be a trainwreck this year, but it just feels like Bill will be on a mission to show he can win without Brady, and I think he can probably keep Cam in line for at least a year or two. I suppose we shall see.

They will be good enough to not be in contention of trevor Lawrence. But not really that good either. It's going to be great.

And that still might win them the division with Josh Allen, Sam Darnold, and a rookie Tua. That division still being so weak is just ridiculous.
