If someone wanted to dangle a pair of #1s for Miller, I would take it. He's still very effective but he isn't the ultra-quick player he used to be. It hurt him last year that Chubb wasn't on the other side but he's no longer the pass rush force he used to be. That's no knock on him. He's had knee surgery and he's aged. Still a darned good player.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

    Yes, he has.

    He's still good enough.

He pretty much single handedly won us a super bowl. He can stay in Denver as long as he wants.

Yes but I think some of his performance has been due to:

    The losing got to him

The systems (VJ and Fang) he's been expected to do things that were not his forte

No Chubb and no Ware have put the spotlight squarely on him and teams are playing that.

Chubb and Casey should help out big time this year

The NFL has adapted to defending him, and taking away his game. When Chubb gets back, I expect Von to be back to his 2015 form. Should be an exciting defense to watch, as long as the back field does their job too.

You are correct. He can't do it by himself. He needs help to compliment his talents, and that 2015 defense did that.

i think so, yes. . . he's still really freaking good, though. . . i don't think he has another monster season (16-17-18 sacks) in him, but i'd love to be proven wrong. . . i do think he and chubb can still be the best pass rush duo in the league, even without that. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
