Default Stats Show Phillip Lindsay, Christian McCaffrey Among The NFL’s Most Explosive Runners

(CBS4)– When you think of the most explosive runners in the NFL, it should come as no surprise that Phillip Lindsay, who earned the nickname the “Tasmanian Devil” at Denver South High School, is near the top of the list. The Denver Broncos running back came in as the sixth-most explosive runner in a list compiled by NFL.com.

He was three spots ahead of another Colorado-native and Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, who came in ninth.

Lindsay rushed for 1,011 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He also had 22 runs of 10 yards or more. McCaffrey was more productive, rushing for 1,387 yards and 15 touchdowns and also catching 116 passes with four scores.

I told you Caf and Lindsay are the same player, ours is cheaper too, with a much better attitude.

All except for the catching the ball and running routes effectively part.

I am more comfortable with Phillip Lindsay because he has a big heart for the city of Denver.

Caf can catch and run routes too, he’s no Lindsay but who is, amirite?

Compare production-to-production and then compare-cost-to-cost and then realize paying a RB top dollar only makes sense if that's the final piece/your window to win is *now*.

I would always agree but I think if you’re going to do it anyway signing Caf NOW makes sense for Carolina, thought being he’d be More likely to be worth the exorbitant salary towards the end of his contract.

Assume the team needs two years to get a real QB. Then imagine another two years of mileage on Caff.

A 'stud' RB like that is fool's gold.

They were never going to let him walk for nothing, they could go the Franchise Tag/Le’Veon Bell route, or you could just get ahead of it and plan accordingly.

Trade him and let someone else overpay him.

    I'm cutthroat, player.
