Will a team get improved draft position if they start a white WR or CB?

    Just a weird observation.
Middle infielders used to be the standard - Tony LaRussa, Bobby Cox, Jimy Williams, Bobby Valentine...

The common denominator here are people who spend a lot of their on-field time in communication and coordination of others. Plus, backups often sit next to managers and bench coaches, learning the skills and the strategies needed since they know their athletic careers in the majors will be fleeting.

A better idea is to add a compensation pick for teams that hire a minority HC or GM. I'd rush right out an sign Ozzie Newsome tomorrow if that were the case.

Really not bright rule at all. As need more diversity and gender there.

I like it, I like this attitude.
"Tuning ... into each other ... lift all higher”
    “I’m just different!”
“ . . . Picture a cup in the middle of the sea”

    Draft
    1st round— Cooper Dejean CB
    2nd round— Jack Sawyer OLB
    3rd round— Will Shipley RB
    4th round— Ricky Pearsall WR
    5th round— Ladd McKonkey WR
    6th round— Cash Jones RB
    7th round— Carson Steele RB

The term 'on brand' comes to mind.

This strikes me as a proposal made to move the needle and kickstart a conversation about the issue.

You see it in politics, but I'll not go into detail, but I think you all know what I'm throwing down.

It's a dumb rule. If the NFL really wants to help minorities become coaches and owners then they should put as much money as they can into organizations and activism that helps level the playing field when it comes to opportunities and education.

Novel idea, but major NFL failing here is at offensive coordinator w/play-call responsibilities. Successful OC/play-callers become HCs. KC's Eric Bieniemy/TB's Byron Leftwich are only black OCs. We know Andy Reid runs KC offense. Leftwich calls plays for Arians/Brady. #9sports
