Thread: New Uniforms

SIAP but saw this wonder if it's true.

I know Broncos faithful loves the "Orange Crush" but seeing as how we're still winless in Super Bowls when we're wearing Orange, I would have no problem with a change.

I think we ought to have about 1000 things on our to do list to get better before we get to uniform changes.

I'm probably in the minority but I prefer the blue.

I actually prefer the orange, I guess at the moment all I can see is that last game in my head and I hate the orange...am sure I will get over it

They should change the whole damn thing. Start all over. Maybe bright yellow. Go back to yellow and brown, with numbers on the brown helmets. And rock the vertical socks. Might as well.

So we're going to switch to the powder blue that the San Diego use to wear with the burnishing orange and dark blue trim? (Kidding)

I wouldn't be surprised if we returned to the original orange and blue of the 80's but incorporated with the new style. So scrap the burnishing orange for a tad lighter tone as well as get rid of the navy blue for the brighter blue they use to don.

There's no way this is real. My favorite is the old orange and royal blue logo/unis. I prefer the cocaine snorting horse logo but I think the only change I would really care about is making the navy blue less navy and more royal blue like it used to be.

80s orange and blue are the best unis, but the all navy unis are right behind it. Orange jerseys are the best though. I doubt Elway would change primary jerseys after only a couple of years though.

Since the initial change in the late 90's and the back-to-back Super Bowls, the uniform has sort of become synonymous with 'coming up short', look at the 2005 AFC Championship Game, all the Wild Card games we lost before and after, last year in the divisional round of the playoffs and this year in the Super Bowl? I can easily see why the Broncos Organization could ponder a change, reinvent their image in a way. If they maintained the current style but changed to the lighter shade of orange and royal blue of the 80's, it becomes a combination of past and present. And Denver won the AFC West 8x, won the AFC Championship 4x and went to 4 Super Bowls wearing those colors, so just maybe?

I hope they switch back to throwback uniforms with 80's logo on helmet.
