Default Jeudy and Hamler trumps Ruggs and any player available in round 2

I was just contemplating this morning how well the draft played out. I know the people think that potentially we could have used that second round pick on another player. But if you're not sold on Ezra Cleveland or Josh Jones as an impact player I don't think there was anybody else you could draft over KJin that position that has the potential for the same level of impact in this 11 personnel Pat shurmur offense. And I definitely think I feel way better about drafting that z position or y position / kick returner in the second than I ever would have drafting Henry with the 15th overall pick. I'm not sold on the tackle position being solidified.

I'm not sold on Garrett ever not missing the mental assignments and being smart enough to be a really good left tackle. That said Thomas was the only guy that I really believed in as a surefire plug and play left tackle and nobody was trading up to 4 to get him.

I guess we could quibble over that first third-round pick. And say that ojemudia was overdrafted and potentially we could have drafted Niang or Peart but I'm going to trust the process and believe that Mike munchak can take us to another level in his second season.

Agreed. Never thought a top eight talent would still be there.

But Ruggs would still have been the better pick over any of the shitty tackles in this class. Probably.

I don't want to put that on any player before they get to the show. I can recall plenty of "can't miss" guys on draft day who laid an egg at the pro level, either from injuries or ineffectiveness. If they play as well as we hope, I'll be happy for that but I'm not going to attach any pressure to them at least until mid-season.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Agreed, just don’t tell us that he’d be a better pick than the Top 4 T’s.

I'd much rather have Ruggs than three of those tackles.

meh! give up the 4th, and gimme wirfs and mims instead. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Jeudy is literally a more versatile and updated version of Marvin Harrison...

That’s because you make poor decisions.

*Poetically views his 60k post count*...Eh...got me there.

I have the courage of my convictions. I wanted Thomas when I thought he was a god and then didn't when I...didn't.

I do appreciate the fact that you dismissed the "Ruggs can't catch," or "run routes," garbage.

I think you're the best draftnik on the board. And I think you have the best posts on the board.

    You're the best of us.

I love Ruggs, even Thomas and Ruggs were there and they took Ruggs I’d be stoked.

And that's why I respect your position.

I'm already running mock drafts for next season.

Doerer might be a sixth rounder.
