That's my point - just take the busted tackles - they're not a safe pick anymore- and put them at guard. Like pretty much every other team these days.

Paying for a guard/shelling out for a guard via picks is just crapola.

I think it's likely. He's a gamble, albeit definitely one worth taking, IMO. Peters plus Bolles is better than Bolles and a random backup. Given that teams took a billion tackles in the draft, and the somewhat decent tackle FA class, and Elway really might have just punked the league, fam.
