IN PATON I TRUST.
This pick shows how knowledgeable and insightful Elway is. He wasn't scared to go true BPA and invest in a WR who will play in a high-powered setting. Don't forget that our new scheme fields four receiving threats minimum for about 85% of the plays. I am so glad we didn't trade up for those subpar LT's. This is one of the greatest draft picks in recent memory. Jeudy was ranked as high as five for sheer best player in the draft status by a lot of the boards/sites.
This is big dick status. We have as much talent on offense as the Chiefs do now baby! LET'S ******* GO!
Anybody that says they knew Jeudy was a possibility is lying, this is stunning.

Draft
1st round— Shemar Stewart 5-T (Best talent in the draft)
2nd round— Shavon Revel CB (1st round prospect before knee injury)
3rd round— Savion Williams WR
4th round— Charles Grant LT
6th round— Vernon Broughton 3-T
6th round— Tyler Shough QB
6th round— Dont’e Thornton WR
Don't sell Sutton short. Unless concussions ruin his carrier, Sutton should play the DT role in our offense. Jeudy is not like Emanuel Sanders but he will fill many of the duties Sanders had before his trade.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

rest, plus video - Elway and FangioENGLEWOOD, Colo. — When the Broncos went through a series of mock drafts in the lead up to the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Jerry Jeudy was still available at No. 15 less than 50 percent of the time.
Jeudy was selected by an earlier team so often that John Elway and the Broncos started to operate as if Jeudy would not be an option when they came on the clock with the 15th-overall pick. The Broncos, Elway said Thursday night, laid out plans for first-round scenarios based on the assumption that Jeudy wouldn't be available.
But then, somehow, he was there. And so, too, was CeeDee Lamb.

Drafting Jerry Jeudy in the first round would have been surprising enough.
But to not have to trade up to get him? Now that was shocking — and a delight for Broncos fans and NFL analysts.
"For Drew Lock, Christmas just came early," The Ringer's Danny Kelly wrote as he gave the Broncos an A-plus grade. "Jeudy is the best route runner in this class, capable of separating with lightning-quick feet and explosive short-area quickness. The former Crimson Tide star is a big-play creator who makes would-be tacklers miss with rare suddenness and cut-on-a-dime change-of-direction skills. … Denver's skill position group is quickly turning into one of the most exciting units in the league. Jeudy came in no. 7 on my Big Board, so I love the value here, too."
Dan Kadar, the lead NFL Draft analyst for SB Nation also gave the pick an A-plus.

But he does know this: He believes he is the best wide receiver in this year's draft — and he's ready to get open.
"I feel like I'm the best wide receiver because I've got the ability to separate," Jeudy said Thursday after the Broncos selected him. "… You need to find a way to get open and I feel like that's what I can do. … I feel like if I'm getting open and creating 5, 6 yards of separation every time, that means more yards and yards after catch. I feel like once I've created that separation, I get 10, 12 more yards. It's just good to be able to be one of the top route-runners."

I had pretty good feeling that when Denver's turn came up it was going to be either Jeudy or Lamb, and not one of those "I have no idea who this guy is type pick."
