1 out of 11 ain't bad miright? That's good in the league.

This seems like a pretty misleading stat. How many of those were late round fliers?
Edit: Cutler was the only 1st and Oz was a 2nd that could be deemed successful?

Tommy Maddox was a 1st rounder too.
Shit - never mind. that was '92.
Here are all the guys picked:
2000: Jarious Jackson, round 7. Late round flier, washed out.
2004: Matt Mauck, round 7. Late round flier, washed out.
2004: Bradlee Van Pelt, round 7. Late round flier, washed out.
2006: Jay Cutler, round 1. Average to above average starter.
2009: Tom Brandstater, round 6. Late round flier, washed out.
2010: Tim Tebow, round 1. Won a playoff game then washed out.
2012: Brock Osweiler, round 2. Decent fill in starter/backup for a few years.
2013: Zac Dysert, round 7. Late round flier, washed out.
2015: Trevor Siemian, round 7. Late round flier, became low end starter/solid backup.
2016: Paxton Lynch, round 1. Bust.
2017: Chad Kelly, round 7. Late round flier, possible low end backup.
2019: Drew Lock, round 2. Still TBD.
Just an interesting stat. You know who's number two? The pats
I think Sloter has to win the award for the most ridiculously overhyped preseason star by our fans of all time.
Dude connected on a few deep bombs against busted coverage and people were acting like he should be the starter and that getting rid of him was the worst move of all time.

In all honesty it wasn't his arm that intrigued me or is athleticism which were both very nice. There was a play I actually think it was against the Vikings. but the pocket broke down and he could have run for 15 yards but instead he slid up and then worked left along the line of scrimmage kept his shoulders square and threw a 25-yard strike into tight coverage. It was a throw that Trevor couldn't make, and Paxton would have just balked and taken off running.one play yes but it showed me that the arm and athleticism paired with a guy that really wanted to play quarterback
Only 1 bust is pretty good.
