Elway keeps cards close to the vest at pre-draft press conference

    Apr 20, 2020

President of Football Operations/GM John Elway held his pre-draft press conference on Monday, but he didn't reveal much about the team's plans. However, he did reveal that the Broncos are having active negotiations with Justin Simmons, whom they placed the franchise tag on last month.

fingers crossed, no receiver in the first!
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

If we take the overrated LT's in this class first it's going to be real sad.

The guy with the best career will be Jackson. He's a project. Becton is a glorified project. Willis is a RT. Wirfs is going to be a good player, but he's more of a RT than LT. Andrews is not very talented and has balance issues. These guys ten years ago were middle to late first rounders if the class was weak that year.

They aren't awesome. Maybe one or two will be better than Bolles, and only one of them will be much better than Bolles. It's not worth the draft capital to take them.

My dog is named brutis. And he is superior to all dogs and dogfishes. Fish dogs too.

And ffs your gay name (poet) and bet are pissing me off. If horse is a submission then become horsecaulk at least
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I plan on watching That's Good Sports' coverage of the draft live on YouTube. It's a great Broncos and overall football coverage channel.

Screw a WR in the first, I’m all in on an OT or ILB (Simmons or Murray please!) Murray might be the safest pick in this draft. Not a single GM or scout has anything negative to say about the dude. He lives, eats, and breathes football, is a leader, and a good person off the field. Sign me up for that dude!

I'm all in on CB. Sadly, I have more faith in Bolles, James, Patrick and Hamilton than I do in Callahan, Bausby and Yiadom
