    Default Draft Simulation

Hey everyone. I've had a little extra time in my office the past few weeks here at work, so I've been playing with a draft simulation tool. You pick the team you want to draft for, and it simulates the other teams. Trades are allowed if you want to trade up or down. Here is the website: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/m...aft-simulator/

I've been reading what people's desires are on the board, but I would be very curious to see how all your drafts end up if each of you were to do a simulation controlling the Broncos. Maybe see which one of us ends up with the best grade. Here was mine from this morning--I give my draft a B-, as many of the players I was hoping would fall were picked up early...

    1. Jerry Jeudy- WR (Both Lamb and Ruggs were off the board)
    2. Kyle Dugger- S (I really like him, and this would allow us too move Kareem Jackson to corner)
    3. Tyler Biadasz- C (no good OT's for value, this sets up our interior o-line nicely with Glasgow and Risner at the guards)
    3. Matt Peart- OT (4 year starter, athletic, could do well in space)
    3. Joe Bachie- ILB (high motor, good in zone coverage)
    4. Amik Robertson- CB (could be a great nickel corner)
    5. Hakeem Adeniji- OT (possibly compete for a tackle spot, but is also versatile and could play multiple positions)
    6. Aloha Gilman- S (total homer pick for me, as a ND fan. But, IMO was ND's best defensive player last year. Could be a great special teams player and provide depth in the defensive backfield...reminds me of a David Bruton, but with more pop)
    7. Nate Stanley- QB (why not this late in the draft?)
    7. Jake Hanson- C (depth)

Would love to see what you players you guys land...

    I did two rounds:
    1. Tristan Wirfs, OT (Somehow still on the board, I don't think that's realistic; Lamb and Jeudy were gone, Ruggs was there, went 18)
    2. Tee Higgins, WR (Had my choice between him and Kamler)
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

    That seems good.

    1. Kinlaw (top 3 WR and all 4 OT gone, was between Henderson and Kinlaw for me...I figure give Kollar a new toy)
    2. Higgins

People are saying Higgins will drop that far. I like him, but I’ve heard people say their are some red flags. I don’t know specifics, but I loved him at Clemson. Lot of talent around him though, and the ACC corners aren’t all that good.

There’s no way Wirfs falls to 15. I just can’t see that happening.

Common sense is that Higgins is worth a close look in the 2d. No need for science. Dude produced and his film is legit. JMO anyways.

Curious what the red flags are. Other than a limited route tree, but that accounts for 97% of all receivers in any draft. Beyond that, he is decent at most other priority aspects of the position. Just not elite.

Really like this draft. Curious about Higgins vs Claypool. Claypool has a worse QB and tougher competition. But I fully recognize my bias there

I saw a tweet from someone the other day who I guess had sources in front offices that said the mainstream mock drafts are more wrong this year than they have ever been. They said they don't think the first round will look anything like most of the mock consensus are saying.

Looks like Jeremiah and Rapoport are both saying it FWIW.

Interesting to read these and see the different players that different people like or have biases toward.

Yes. This seems to be the consensus.
