Yeah. It seems really odd. I’m sure there are already some conspiracy theories out there like with some other Kennedy’s. I wonder if there are any witnesses other than the husband.

Mother's body found. Son's body still missing and presumed drowned.

Busy day for the Grim Reaper yesterday.

We lost Honor Blackman ("***** Galore" in one of the James Bond films), James Drury (star of the tv series "The Virginian") and baseball Hall-of-Famer Al Kaline (Detroit Tigers).
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Bobby Mitchell, RB and FL for the Browns and Redskins in the 60's died. Mitchell broke the color barrier for the Redskins in '61 or'62. The owner at that time, George Preston Marshall, said he would happily sign a black ballplayer some day, its just that sadly black guys weren't any good at playing football. This was so embarrassingly false that the NFL under new commish Pete Rozelle, got the Browns to offer Marshall All-Pro HB Mitchell...and said they would go public if Marshall didn't take the deal. As the Redskins had won only one game the previous year (manned only by white guys) Marshall was backed into a corner. IIR the League had pre-cleared this with Bobby Mitchell, because they knew life with the Redskins would be horrible

Check out his stats. A truly great Hall of Famer. RIP

Another RB from the early 60's died, a very similar player to Bobby Mitchell. This was Timmy Brown, probably the most dangerous broken field runner until Gale Sayers entered the League in '65. RB, WR, and superb return man. Another great from my early childhood

Celebrity deaths don't usually get to me but John Prine is one of my all time favorites. Anyone who pays attention to the What are you listening to thread knows I absolutely love that man's music.

Damn, I'm fighting back tears right now.

Prine survived cancer in 1999 and lost a lung to cancer surgery after that. COVID may have finished him off but he had beaten death twice before. That's what I'm noticing is so many of the deaths from this virus are people who die were already suffering from other conditions.

Brian Dennehy. No word on if covid positive or not.

Sad. He was a terrific actor.
