He was awful last year - no one turned on him so much as documented how he was one of the worst QB's in the league - but I guess he's a sacred cow?

It's not how I would build my team

But Flacco wasn't sent in to be a game manager - he shouldn't have been sent in at all, he's awful-

Well after working with Peyton some, having since January to get things down and improved without other stressor, knowing the new gm is trying to replace him potentially, the fact he said this would be his best offseason ever, the gm saying he's on a mission, literally everything. I kinda expected things like "he really has improved" footwork and accuracy are much improved even in otc and mini camp......stuff like that.

Not teddy is out playing him and we are seeing same old mistakes. That has me concerned.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I believe the covid excuse is valid, but also overblown

First year and second year starters came into the league and thrived

denver's HC IS on a short leash. . . where you been?

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

I still think before training camp is over Watson or Rodgers will be a bronco.

You shouldn’t worry about Denver fans thinking that. You should worry about Denver’s front office thinking that.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I worry about both to a degree. The Teddy B thing wreaks of Flacco 2.0.......Drew ended up being the answer the last 5 games that year, and I'm sure something similar will show its face this year if Teddy B is the so called answer into the season and were staring at a losing record after 8 games of avg boring Qb play. Drew will be the guy again until the and the entire coaching staff can be replaced going into next year unless they make a magical playoff run, and to be fair they all would have deserved it at that point.

Only way this year ends up good is if Drew gets it and dominates TC and pre-season heading into the season and has a good year or we pull Rodgers out of our ass. Those are the only 2 scenarios where Denver and its fanbase wins. Every other scenario means mediocre play, middle of the road Draft pick in rd 1, a new regime and Qb and a start over from scratch yet again. All of that is wasted year for Denver and its fanbase but I'm sure the calls for Case Rypien to get his shot will grow louder to coincide.....
