He’s a local QB Guru, pretty fair and balanced … Waves pity party aside.

The notion of game-managing an offense into the playoffs via a stout defense is attractive to some

Actually this is the only positive thing you’ve ever posted about Lock … yet, you still somehow find a way to be douchy about it.

I’m not even mad, well done!

Thanks! This is the nicest thing you've ever said to me!

In all seriousness though, I've never said he doesn't have raw talent. He certainly has the ability to make every throw. But unless the decision making improves, he can have all the talent in the world and it won't matter.

I recall Brother Wave being happy that Denver was going to spend time developing someone (and I paraphrase) "with real talent," so I must decry Brother Jaded's words!

I loved the Lock pick and hated that he didn't get more play as a rookie. I don't hate the guy. I just didn't like what I saw from him last season at all.

Thanks, but is he personally there watching Drew right now?

I'm not sure, but for the record, Kils echoed this guy's sentiment and he's definitely there in person.

It was a great selection value wise

This is true, however the broncos aren’t interested in just slipping into playoffs and getting bounced. Maybe a head coach whose on a short leash with zero confidence would find this attractive.

At the end of the day Drew will win the competition because he’s the better quarterback and has the higher upside that come week 8 he can be hitting on all cylinders and dominating whereas teddy is going to remain mediocre no matter what.

It’s still a great selection. Ain’t nothing changed other than him becoming the most hated quarterback over night for no real reason. I’m glad he’s changed his tune on how he deals with the media. I’m glad he sees how the media will turn on you in a heartbeat just like the fan’s.
