So I admit I have been excited as hell about Lock since he was drafted. I did notice Pro Football Focus is super sour on him last season. Then I read something the other day about his week one performance. He ranked dead last. I respect the PFF they are spot on in most cases. Is anyone else concerned about Lock’s inaccuracy on deep throws with a team that was basically built the last couple of years on deep throw production?

I am not concerned - 5 games started last year, no preseason games this year, a modified training camp this year.

i could care less about PFF-- but only a little. . . if lock is missing that pass to daeshon in the endzone in october or november, we got problems, though. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Yeah, if Jeudy doesn’t doink two HUGE passes off his hands PFF would prolly be singing Lock praises

Points for getting the phrase of caring less correct.

Super concerned. Hoping it is just a timing/reps issue. That's a real reason.

But also, seeing a vector and hitting your mark is a QB thing and he whiffed. So I'm concerned until I'm not.

You’re actually both completely wrong. The correct phrase is “couldn’t care less”. Saying you “could care less” is saying that you actually do care but you should care less than you do.

Which is really dumb because Fitzpatrick threw for worse and 2 interceptions. Baker Mayfield was about the same week 1. Pff just hates them some lock thats all.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
