How’s that working for Jacksonville? You don’t tank in the NFL. There’s no reason for it. The margins are too slim. This same team, without these major injuries is a playoff contender. Two or three turnovers can literally be the difference between 6-10 and 10-6. Margins are too thin in this league. Never tank.
Other sports, have that conversation. Not this one.
How bout “Flustercuck”?
I like “Fustercluck” better, though.
You can either/or but not both.

Ya know what, let’s ask ourselves just how many positions they desperately need filled?
LT, RT, one CB ... a coverage ILB. Then you’re getting into positions that need better depth, OLB, another CB, but these aren’t desperate needs.
Hold this core together, get/stay healthy (hope JuWuan James stays healthy for his final season in Denver) and you can get LT/CB and get a future RT in the ‘21 draft ... and watch them gel.
This is a young, up-and-coming team, like the Browns ... not the Jets.

Lock has to learn not to get sacked even better, apparently. No point in 'once per XX' when there's only one sack that matters.
Hope he makes a full recovery and regains his equestrian wedding tackle. I'm sure Lock will learn from his mistake.
Mason's point about how a more mobile or gifted QB can raise all ships, that one hits the mark. If that was what Mason was being polite in saying.

"As it stands, the Broncos are more likely to land a top five pick in the 2021 NFL Draft than find themselves in the playoff race. If Lock continues to play as he has across his first seven games, Elway and Fangio will need to have an honest conversation about the quarterback position in the spring."
Thought this was a pretty interesting read.
