No. He has good mobility, he's really smart, he has one of the best arms in the league, he has leadership and that *it* factor to him. He's overcome adversity and done it in the right way. He will have some growing pains, maybe a lot. But the hype is legitimate because Lock is legitimate, and he's going to win us multiple Super Bowls.
I know I'm in the minority on Patrick and Hamilton, but they definitely showed flashes. Heck, with a real QB, they might be downright good. Think of the WR's Elway had and made look a lot better than they were! (no, I'm not saying Lock is Elway, FTR)
I'm also on Coach's side of the fence re: Bolles. I don't think he's quite as bad as people think.
On patrick you might be....I do however think Hamilton can do good things with Lock, he flashed more then patrick late.... Another guy outside at Number 2 and were golden....Patrick will never be anything more then a depth #4 or #5 special teams perhaps wr in my eyes. Not sure whats up with winfree, but I wouldnt be suprised if neither of them make it out of camp.....This class is pretty legit at the WR position.....
As for Bolles he isnt as bad a player as he is made out to be, but he is mentally unable to be consistent for long stretches of the season. They may go with him this year but he needs to be upgraded....Thats a reality......
Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan
Draft
RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St
FA
1. With what money
Here is the real question...if Tua drops to 15, do we take him?

Hamilton may have a lot more to show--may top out at that white guy slot receiver always open type of dude.
Patrick I always thought might turn out to be a stud, maybe even a starter, but the smart folks keep telling me that's just wrong.
And I'm with you guys on Bolles. I'd be happy to have an upgrade, but he wasn't nearly as much of a thorn in the games that Lock started. He can hold the tiller for a bit I suppose even if he thinks footwork is for sissies or whatever his hangup is.

He spread the ball around! He was pocket aware. He moved. He converted busted plays.
And its easy to see he wants to get better.
Step on the gas!
IN PATON I TRUST.
