The 8-7 record is nice, but I can't think of too many of those wins where I was like "Damn, we'd have definitely lost if not for what Lock did". This week was definitely one where we absolutely needed his play to win. This was a huge step for him. Now I really want to see him build on it against a good buffalo team who has a lot to play for.

Denver has had some breaks this year and the defense has played well beyond what i thought they would and kept us in a lot of games. Is there something about Minshew im missing? Why does everybody dislike him so much? He's probably a better option than Bortles i would think or at least on the same wavelength only younger. This is of course in a backup role in my mind.
