Sure, but in general a QB who is good enough to be a playoff/super bowl type guy probably pretty consistently looks good against his own defense in practice. Lock sucking every other practice wouldn't exactly fill me with confidence about how he'd do in games.

Hopefully he keeps it up. If he outshines Bridgewater in camp and earns the starting job I think it portends well for his chances to "take a leap" in his development this season

Default Broncos Briefs: Drew Lock’s “high” confidence on display with red-zone touchdown passes in first minicamp practice

Three red-zone touchdown passes delivered with equal parts velocity and aggressiveness during the final period of the Broncos’ opening minicamp practice Tuesday confirmed quarterback Drew Lock’s mindset.

“My confidence is high right now,” he said. “I’m just excited with where this is going. I see a lot of things we’re building on and we get to focus on minor details now instead of bigger-picture things like last year. That will help us be 10 times better in the long run.”

The snaps were divided equally between Lock and Teddy Bridgewater — 14 apiece in 7-on-7 and 16 apiece in 11-on-11.

The minicamp is the last chance for Lock and Bridgewater to make an impression on the Broncos’ coaches before camp starts next month.

Report: Drew Lock 'Dominated' Day 1 of Broncos' Minicamp
So much for a QB "pressing" and "frustrated", eh?

I love lock, but he is a very hot and cold streaky kind of qb.

Some days he will look like the best player on field, others he will look pouty. I want someone to help develop his habits for the bad streaky days. He was like that at Mizzou

This is just me being a dork.

But when I read this, I imagine these two separate things--his confidence growing, whatever that means, maybe 'his confidence' is like one of those magic crystal things you put in water--and Drew Lock throwing TDs. Like they are unrelated or something.

Like I said, me being a dork. Hope this makes someone smile a little.

Careful, with the way people are right now on this site some might argue you to death that you said drew lock is a water crystal.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

No worries he’ll consistently dominate by week 1.
