1. With what money
Was reading this scouting report from a QB Coach about Zach Wilson, and I thought the part about him implying that Lock was kind of a dick in interviews is interesting. Would partially explain why he slid as far as he did.
https://theathletic.com/2532416/2021...ay-style-woof/I could see Zach being a Pro Bowl QB quickly like (Justin) Herbert or I could see him being like Drew Lock. If I had to bet money, I’d bet it doesn’t work out for him with the Jets. Zach playing right away in that market with his play style — woof — that’d make me really nervous. And unlike Trey (Lance) and Justin (Fields), at least they’re 6-4, 230 and can run. So if he starts shitting the bed, we can get out of the game running the ball like Josh Allen did as a rookie in Buffalo.
I expected him to be Drew Lock-ish (in his interview); I did not get that vibe. He was great; smart. He knows we’re not gonna take him and he could’ve been a total dick and that it probably wouldn’t have hurt him, but he wasn’t. He knew his offense; we put on bad clips and he took ownership, all of that.
I’ll take Case Rypien over Minshew, same lack of talent and ability but he’s far more accomplished and experienced and he doesn’t dress like a redneck pinup model.
Plus, his BF fan club is far more realistic. For example “I like Minshew better than Fields”— Coachchaz ... “I like Rypien better than Fields”— No One Ever

PFF rates Denver’s roster as 6th overall and “would be higher” if QB weren’t taken into the equation (duh)
6. DENVER BRONCOS
Draft capital rank: 9th
Denver would be even higher if we removed quarterbacks from the equation. The Broncos secondary might be the best in the NFL, with Kyle Fuller and Ronald Darby on the outside, Bryce Callahan in the slot and Justin Simmons and Kareem Jackson at the two safety spots.
Unfortunately, Drew Lock has yet to show much in the way of promise. He is one of the three-lowest-graded passers over the last couple of seasons, while no quarterback in the NFL has thrown uncatchable balls at a higher rate.
Will things change on draft day? Only time will tell, but it is worth noting that the three most likely Broncos picks at this moment, according to DraftKings Sportsbook, are North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance (+200), Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons (+400) and Alabama quarterback Mac Jones (+600).
