We are actually debating whether Tebow had any redeeming qualities in the same thread where we’re mostly skeptical about an actual NFL talent that has literally NEVER looked as bad as Tebow.

Dude has absolutely nothing on Lock (Nothing!) ... yet here we are ... in Lock’s thread ... one is legitimately being questioned in NFL terms ... the other had no business being in the NFL but is being celebrated.
And when I say “redeeming qualities” I’m not talking about your bullshit “he Wills his team to wins” nonsense ... I’m not having that ridiculous discussion ever again.
He sucked!

I like how “wins” is the measurable when we’re not debating Lock v Garbage.
Lock = more wins and far more talent ... Broncos fans “meh”.

Minshew would be a upgrade on Case Rypien, Not on lock....
Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan
Draft
RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St
FA
1. With what money
I understand this sentiment, and how Minshew excites nobody as QBOTF -- but statistically speaking he was better than Lock last year. That's been my point all along. He might be better than Lock right now, and might win the starting job over him in a real competition.
I'd still prefer to draft a rookie QBOTF, but in lieu of that, let Minshew come in and push Lock... The idea that he doesn't provide competition is just wishful thinking on all of our parts that Lock is better than he's shown.
So just gonna ignore the whole deal about him being able to run the football? Okay. Ignore the comeback wins? Okay. Neither of those metrics matters anyways, I guess...
It seems like we are headed for having the same QB room again next year, barring a slide of one of the top 4 QBs. Even then, if Lance or Fields drops then other personnel men have concerns too so it isn't a slam dunk. Gotta let the scouting department do its job and trust their evaluations, otherwise you get Dwayne Haskins.
