Default 2015 Broncos season rewatch thread.

So if anyone was unaware, NFL gamepass is currently free until May 31. This includes full replays of every game dating back to 2009. This includes a condensed version in which you can watch every play in about 30-40 minutes. Here's the link to get it (don't even have to give CC info)

    https://gamepass.nfl.com/packages?redirected=true

I thought it might be fun to go through and do one game a day from the 2015 season starting tomorrow and going all the way through the Super Bowl and relive that season. Might as well bring a little joy to these next 3 weeks.

Week 1 today! Broncos defeat the Ravens 19-13. I'll watch this one later today when I'm done with work. I usually remember our openers but I don't really have any memory of this game. Looking forward to checking it out.

Well not sure if anyone else watched it but this game was quite the defense battle. Not a single offensive TD scored. 2 pick sixes and 6 FGs between the two teams. We damn near lost this one too. Steve Smith dropped what would have likely been the game winning TD with about 30 seconds left, then Stewart sealed it with a pick on the next play. Our defense was so fun to watch that year. And the offensive was about as bad as the defense was good. Sanders was about our only offensive player with a pulse that game. Oh and Hillman played way better than CJ.

Spoiler Alert: Defensive battles were the norm.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Manning is done and has looked done since the end of last year. He can barely complete a pass. I think the team ought to think about benching him for Brock. I don't know how the team can possibly go through a full season like this. Kubiak's offense isn't getting it done in the running game either.
    (Did I do it right?)

Going to watch week 2 vs KC soon. Looking at the stats it seems like this was one of our better offensive games.

This is a great idea, Wave!

I take back a few of the bad things I've said about you.

Broncos beat the chiefs 31-24 to move to 2-0. This was a weird game. We played like complete ass for the first quarter and a half. Went down 14-0, committed a bunch of awful personal fouls on defense, and Peyton threw his second pick six in as many weeks. From that point on we were much better though. We got a TD and a talib pick and another TD to tie it 14-14 at the half.

Second half was again fairly ugly offensively but the defense really clamped down. This game had an ending that I'd imagine most of us still remember. It was about to go into overtime before Jamal Charles fumbled it away and we took it in for the winning score. Also worth noting that right before that we were down a TD with 2 minutes left and Peyton drove us down for the tie.

For those keeping count at home, that's two games in as many weeks that have been saved by a late turnover forced by our D. I remember at the time thinking how unsustainable that would be. We forced 5(!) turnovers in this game.
