We haven't had a 3 down back since Moreno, and he had his own issues. Williams is the next closest but until he gets better at blitz pickup and comes back healthy as well he will not get unfettered access to all 3 downs. Gordon used to be solid at catching and Blitz pick-up which is why he always was in play, he is just a pouty ho who lacks accountability and cant hold onto a football running or catching anymore.... This year he literally sucked at everything, the one game where it was blatantly evident he was benched everyone but him knew why and then Hackett went bitch mode trying to appease a vet.

Default Report: Chiefs expected to sign veteran running back Melvin Gordon to practice squad

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - After Clyde Edwards-Helaire was placed on injured reserve last week, the Chiefs activated running back Ronald Jones to fill out the rotation with Jerick McKinnon and Isiah Pacheco.

Monday, the Chiefs brought in a veteran face to the running back room.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Melvin Gordon is expected to sign with Kansas City and be added to the practice squad.

He'll probably put 200 yds on us and won't fumble.

I love it when a good plan comes together!
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

    Oh muh gerd!

I hope MG3 doesn’t give the Queefs all of Hackett’s secrets.

Default AP source: Chiefs adding ex-Broncos RB Melvin Gordon

    From article-

The Chiefs were the perfect landing spot for him for a couple of reasons.

First, they still have to play the Broncos twice in their final six games, when they are trying to maintain their grasp on the AFC's top seed and lone playoff bye.

Whatever information Gordon can provide on new coach Nathaniel Hackett's system, and the rest of the struggling Broncos, will only help them down the stretch.

Second, the Chiefs were in need of some depth at running back with Clyde Edwards-Helaire out with a high ankle sprain.

Sadly, I don't think even Melvin can fumble five times in one game. Pretty sure Andy would get him out of there before that.

No surprise, Gordon still thinks he is amazing and did no wrong, he is signing with them knowing they will probably beat us twice and he can get some payback. He is a petty pouty ho like that.

I mean, why wouldn't he sign with a good team if given the opportunity? You're kinda being the pouty ho here having a problem with this. Literally any player would do the same if given the chance.
