He's not a great receiver. It's true. Love Phil but for him to reach his long term potential he needs to be in that mold.

Lindsay for McCaffrey and a 7th round pick, much like the Casey trade, just to take on that salary.

I think he’s not in there on passing plays more for the blocking. I get it, but y’all know I hate that.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Just a good receiver? 116 receptions, 1000+ yards is good? Man you are hard to impress.

Too much wear on the tires, should stick with Lindsay.

    Lindsey can stay.

There is wear....but McCaffrey brings so much more to the table.

He is the epitome of hard work, discipline and character.

    Leader through example and humility.

McCaffrey, like Lindsey is Bronco born.

Brings Marshall Faulk like flexibility and scoring power to your offense.

With Fant, Sutton and another WR in the draft, he give Lock and this offense every single tool available to mankind in the game of football.

Heck, we can even take 2 WRs in the draft to bring even more versatility.

Say we give up #15 and a third for McCaffrey. (sounds good to me)

We use our second rounder for Chase Claypool....then get a burner or someone else in the 3rd.
    IN PATON I TRUST.

Lindsay has a better attitude too, I like half of his attitude, tipping the scales in his favor.

That’s a lot of capital for a player you already have.

I like how Lindsay no longer has hard work, discipline and character once the Great White Hope is supposedly available for way too much in return.

Don't get me wrong, McCaf is obv signif more wins above replacement than lil Phil until now, and in Harry Potter universes I'm down with mystically acquiring--plot twist!--the anti-secular white one. Disclosure: Christian might actually be an atheist with or have some troubling doubts, but this is for another forum.

But there is too much white boy hype for this to work in normal universes. Plus, white or not, he's just really damn good coming off a crazy good season with 5000+ touches.

I like that Lindsay is here and is the man and might actually crush Christian's numbers next year. It wasn't that long ago that we were like, oh look, Lindsay just hit 500 yards on three carries holy balls.

Here’s my point; Alvin Kamara, 3rd round pick, right where a player like McCaffrey should be drafted ... he’s Alvin Kamara, not Marshall Faulk with better intangibles. Broncos have the same type of player and when we’re not slobbering all over McCaffrey people can’t stop slobbering over Lindsay ... same player ... but when Caf is supposedly available we gotta sell the farm because he’s special.

Everybody wanted to sell the farm to move ahead of Panthers to draft Caf, not we’re selling the farm to trade for him. For a RUNNINGBACK! A SMALL runningback. Have you heard of Todd Gurley? Dude is much bigger, much better ... done at age 25.

Saints got the type of RB In the 3rd, Broncos get same kind of RB undrafted ... in the same draft class.

    Barf ... ******* barf.
