Ryan Ram is a brilliant RT, but he could play left tackle. The glory years of great OL play are dead. Various reasons for that, too. It's fine. Just...get someone in there who can at least not get mauled all the time.

The glory days or over but one of the biggest reasons is teams don’t take it seriously, it’s not 2008 anymore and you have to invest to get great OL play.

    Draft

    3rd round— Will Shipley RB
    4th round— Ricky Pearsall WR
    5th round— Ladd McKonkey WR
    6th round— Cash Jones RB
    7th round— Carson Steele RB

QB (as you mentioned), RB, OLB, S, K.

Two of those positions I’m not touching with a ten foot pole in the first round (RB, maybe less so, but definitely K).

We have Lock, we need to see this through.

No more outside linebackers, I don’t care how talented the dude is, just don’t. Stick it out with what you have, it could be the best tandem in the league.

Safety. I like what we have. Justin Simmons is a potential all pro type of player. Kareem Jackson and Will Parks are good complements.

Real positions of need: Tackle. I think we all know this and it’s supposedly a deep draft. WR. Another deep draft at that position and a complement to Sutton would be great, I’d think a over the middle slot guy would be perfect (think Godwin’s complement to Mike Evans in Tampa). ILB. Isaiah Simmons, come on down!

Positions you wouldn’t hate to see in the first: CB, DL.

I would love to to see Isaiah Simmons, somehow, but I have a feeling he’s going to go before the Broncos pick. Officially, my three picks for the exercise are:

    Draft: Isaiah Simmons.

Sign: Robby Anderson, Michael Pierce and Nickell Robey-Coleman.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I think OLB is a need, MO, unless they bring back Attaochu.

    Reed is a stiff.

I think LB is a bigger need than people are claiming.

TE's...they haunt our dreams running down our seam
    The quarterback celebrates again
    Our linebackers are crying
    Took it on...the chin.

Sorry, I should’ve probably said EDGE. Denver is fine on the edge.

They’re great on the edge ... until it’s time to put in Reed.

Bring Attaochu back to go with Hollins at the backup positions. Hollins isn’t much of a pass rusher yet but he’s better than Reed.

Right, some depth is needed. You don’t want depth in the first round.

I don't understand Hollins. He's super twitchy, long, very flexible and literally disappears as a pass rusher. He's going to either get it one year and become very good or drive us crazy for years. Attaochu has to come back. and yes we need depth inside.

man I wish Corey Nelson could have stayed healthy. He was solid in coverage during his first stint with us. I'd piss myself if one of Kinlaw, Brown or Simmons drops to us. If any of those three and one of the top tackles are on the board. I'd be happy man.

You're talking about Parks but I can't see him coming back once the second tier starts lighting up. We really struck gold at safety in that draft. He will get more money and opportunity elsewhere so safety can't be off the table on Day two.
