XFL Attendance: St. Louis deserves an NFL team after the BattleHawks showing

Wrong.
This might be because they not only smart enough to realize that having stadiums that look completely empty because the fans are too spread out makes these upstart leagues look like a joke, but also having fans packed tighter together allows them to feed off of each other to create more energy in the stadium. Personally, I think it would be smarter of them lease smaller stadiums in the 1st place until they draw a large enough fanbase to justify a larger stadium.
If the quality their football is just as good or better then the NFL, then the tickets should be at least the same price.
In the short term, your right. I’ll elaborate more on this while responding to your next point.
The Cards moved here back in ’88, the year I graduated from HS. They experienced the same problem that other transplant teams experience as far as the adult fanbase not converting over immediately. I know I speak for many NFL fans here at the time when I say that I would’ve converted if we had gotten an expansion team, but they’re no way I was going to all of the sudden become passionate about a team I never cared about before just because they moved into town. The popularity of the Cards has grown over the years, not due to adult conversions, but because of them being embraced by kids who were born and raised with the Cards being their hometown team.
The same will happen with the Rams, but I’m not so sure about the Chargers unless they get their act together and at least duplicate what the Rams did in ’18. Until then, I expect that the Chargers will be to the Rams what the Clippers were to the Lakers until the Clippers got their act together and started consistently putting quality teams on the court about 15 years ago.
The Raiders are probably 2nd only to the Cowboys in terms of being the most popular out of state team in AZ. A survey o the Native American reservations back in the late ‘90s found they were the most popular team there. I would expect this to be the case just about everywhere around the country because they persona has far more “bad boy” appeal than any other NFL team. I’m not sure how Vegas being a tourist town that has such a large percentage of the people presiding in it at any given time being out of towners that might be buying up tickets. I’m definitely curious how all of these conflicting atypical factors playout.
How big of a fan base did the Chargers actually build in SD in the almost 60 years they were there?
You do realize that when I get tired of reading you posting the same things over and over again I simple stop reading your post?
