That’s ONE game, what about the 18 games before that?

The Montana thing ends up with the same as the Brady thing, and that is the definition of the 'system QB'. It's a pejorative, a derogation of the pinnacle of achievement. Manning was a 'system QB'. You need to break apart what that word means and come correct. All of these QBs did things that are all-time worthy. It's hard to measure and compare.

But like all good trollery it is kind of close to being serious.

    Mainly though it's lame.

    Yes and no.

Even if you take what you believe to be a "system" issue the type of players that Montana had in his time was far superior to even what Brady had. I like Montana but i feel comfortable with him at #4 on my list behind Manning, Brady, and Elway.

Oh...so when Elway or Montana struggles early and then bring them back it's one way, and they're comeback kings...but when Mahomes does it it's not cool.

On purely logical grounds, the obvious comparisons to TD and JE make this sad.

Hawg, Timmy, Dread, et al...hit the bricks boys,

    You let me down.

So we counting the ones he missed because he is too incompetent to run a QB sneak at the goal line?
