Default Pics Not Displaying in Webmail

Recently pics have stopped showing up in my gmail. I use the webmail version and not the app. Any ideas of why all of a sudden pics won’t show up in emails when people send them to me? I’ve had two different people try it and all I get is a blank square.

    On your phone?

If on cell data you might have a slow connection causing Gmail to drop the photos in order to still show you the email

If a work connection they might have those file types blocked for auto display

If on your phone and chrome or google page, click option button and select Desktop Version

I believe the mobile webpage is a problem

In gmail web interface, go into gmail settings (get there from the gear icon in upper right) and then in the general tab, see if you have images set to always display or ask before displaying.

Yeah, I don’t think I have that option in the webmail version. I wonder if it’s a proxy setting on their server. It’s not really a big deal, but it was annoying me. Lol
