Broncos quarterback Drew Lock, who is friends with Jones, said Friday ahead of Super Bowl LIV that he's excited to see what could be in store for his own career.
"If you look at the credentials on all the quarterbacks that they've coached, those guys have turned out to be extremely, extremely good quarterbacks in this league," Lock told DenverBroncos.com on Friday. "I'm excited [as] a young guy to be able to get them at an early stage in my career. They did so well with Daniel last year. Daniel played his butt off. I'm excited to be able to have them now and see where we can take this."
Lock said he has spoken with both Shurmur and Shula since the two were hired earlier this month, but their conversations revolved around leadership and the locker room.
