Well if that's your barometer, all but the very elite of the elite QBs are overrated, because they basically all get enormous contracts now.
I don't really care about what a QB makes when determining if they are overrated or not. Teams are all QB desperate and will pay anyone halfway decent. Even the elite QBs aren't worth the mega contacts they get sometimes with how much it hamstrings their cap.
I dunno, I just think it's bizarre to call one of the most shit on QBs in the league overrated.
Flacco anyone?

We both know that's not how QB contracts work. Every above average to great QB gets a bigger contract than the last guy got. This isn't one isolated incident of Jerry Jones overrating/overpaying Dak. The Rams did the same with Goff. The 49ers did it with Jimmy G. Lions did it with Stafford. Eagles did it with Wentz. Raiders did it with Carr. Vikings did it with Cousins. That's just the cost of doing business in the NFL to keep a young QB. The next guy up will get a bigger deal than Dak.
To call Dak overrated because he's the latest in these line of above average/good QBs to get a big contract is a little disingenuous. When the next 3 guys get their contract, which will all be bigger than Dak's, his contract won't be top 3 anymore.
