Practically every Fanspeak mock that I run has Kinlaw available. I would be happy if that were the case. I think the only mock I saw where he was taken, the Broncos drafted Judge Jeudy instead.

No matter how good Jeudy is i hope we pass on WR in the first. There are so many good players at bigger needs in the first round in my opinion.

Mims must have had a great Senior Bowl because he has jumped up from 4th-5th round status to Top 50. Mims has great body control but not elite hands from what I've seen. There are two Longhorn receivers that will interest me. Collin Johnson is 6-6, above average speed and wins jump balls. He's a beast but he gets injured too often and has trouble getting low for catches. Devan Duvernay may be an elite slot receiver in the NFL. He's a tad small but he's very versatile, in the mold of Emanuel Sanders. He caught over 100 passes last year, everything from bubble screens to deep fade patterns. He'll outquick defenders more than outmuscle them but if he has other options around to distract defenses, he'll make defenders pay. Not a #1 but with a guy like Sutton around, he'll make a great compliment.

But that’s more of what they already have, I’d rather bring in speed guys like Reagor, Hamler and Jeff Thomas.

In Mims I would agree he is a improved version of Patrick which in rd 3 I'm fine with rd 2 might be a reach. I don't like Patrick very much he doesn't have great hands and is easily replaceable. I also believe he needs to be replaced. He also is a RFA so it remains to be seen if we even tender him. I like Reagor and rumor has it were looking into him and Laviska Heavily. As for Hill I disagree he has elite Run route ability with very good speed and hands. He is probably the WR that helped his stock the most so far from the Senior Bowl....the combine will be the final piece for him on whether he goes in rd 2 or rd 3.....

I’ve heard the same thing about Deasean Hamilton.

yeah he was supposed to be way better. I think Hamilton's problems were Mental this year, remains to be seen about hill. Hamilton also showed improvement the last couple games and it was said he started seeing the field and chances more after finally getting the blocking thing down and not dropping stuff in practice.......This was beat reporter rumors though so who knows.....I will not be upset if we draft a speed guy, but let's be real how many speed guys fail as well cause they cant run routes or seperate....

I think we will just have to agree that we need more skill, talent, speed and ability at the WR position then Sutton and Hamilton, the prospect will vary I'm sure between who likes who.....but we need it to not only help lock, but execute Shurmur's scheme....

I won't be upset if we take a receiver in the first round. Lock clearly needs more weapons. On the other hand, the defense needs some serious renovation however a coach like Fangio should be able to coach up guys on that side of the ball. Broncos had a lot of low-scoring games last year that could have gone either way.
